Oscar is a fully textured and rigged robot character built in Maya and rendered in Redshift.
The character features layered PBR materials — scratched bare metal with directional scuffing on the dome head, exposed blue/red wiring running from neck to torso, goggle-eye glass shaders with internal emissive elements, and worn boot leather with riveted detailing.
Rigging used a Mixamo base skeleton with a custom Python script to batch-transfer UVs from the original mesh to the rigged version, preserving all texture maps without rebaking. The turntable was rendered via Redshift with a full AOV pass setup, composited in After Effects.
